One month old

Today Mia is one month old. I can't believe how much she's changed and grown in just this little time! This week she's decided to cry/fuss any time she's not being held with a pacifier in her mouth, and is sleeping very little. That's been fun. She's also experiencing a bit of baby acne... not so cool, but I know she's not the first baby to have it! Here are a few more photos from the past week. We were glad to have snow, because then we got to see the Easter bunny's footprints!

Jill- hang in there. I feel for you with not sleeping. Just remember at least she does sleep some. Zach never slept the first 10 weeks at night at all. He use to stay awake 15 hours straight. I never thought he would sleep! I hope she is a good girl and sleeps for you soon! Vickie

I think Mia is crying because she misses us. Do you need me to come back and hold her??

Easter bunny footprints? How did you manage that??

We just had pit bull footprints...Tito managed to escape. At least I hope it was Tito...could've been COYOTES!!!
The one of her sleeping reminds me so much of Payton. I think she's got the Davis girl mouth. Everyone says we all have the same smile. And her mouth looks like Payton and Carsyn. Such cute little lips you just gotta kiss em!

One more thing....did I ever tell anyone that Mia was born on my half birthday??? I was 34 1/2 years old the day she was born!

I have decided that Mia is an addict and needs a 12 step program this early in life for pacifier use! She has used one a lot, but this week she is nuts without it. Tonight she was sound asleep on my chest and it fell out, and she moved her head everywhere trying to find it and get it back in her mouth! crazy little girl. i have a feeling the bunny prints are really a stray cat's prints, but don't tell luke! we saw them saturday night and said the easter bunny came by but had to leave since luke wasn't asleep yet, and he'd come back later. is it ok to lie to your child to get them to sleep? :) brenda, remember mia came on the 11th? :) we thought she'd be on the 12th when i was going to be induced.

Re: Amy's egg dying pix. Maybe the t shirt's too small, but I'm sure Luke wants to continue wearing it b/c of his memories of Sudsy in San Antonio.
Mia looks so sweet all snuggled up.
