It has been raining so much in Killeen the past few days - in fact, we got 15 inches the past 2 days! I took Luke out to play in the water for a while tonight, not realizing that at that same time across town there was a tornado! Probably not my best parenting moment. He had so much fun splashing around, and it reminded me of playing in our flooded street growing up.

Looks like he had a great time? Remember when our backyard would flood and you would ride rafts across several neighbor's yards (before the fence was up, that is)?Mom

Those are great pix! I can remember riding my bike down the flooded street and making the water splash. I remember how frizzy my hair would get, too, but Luke doesn't have tht problem. I posted a comment about your last day, I thought, but it's in cyberspace. So, when are you starting your trip?
Trip starts wednesday - we'll be in stow thur night thru tuesday sometime...
And Brenda, I know what (who) you're talking about... but he had long pants on and he was just trying to keep them dry! I promise he doesn't usually do that... :)
I'm such a girl. All i can think about is Luke stepping on worms in the puddles and how gross that must be! :)
Water is fun! Did Luke break into a run to kick up a good splash or two? Have a good trip! Sorry we will miss seeing you :( We are leaving at noon on Friday (the 1st) for our 2 weeks in Florida :)
